About Us


In 2008, on an operating budget of $200,000, we distributed over 5 million dollars worth of food and clothing without charge to proven needy individuals and through food pantry systems.


Bread of Life Ministry, Inc. is governed by a board of directors and is audited annually.

The Bread of Life Ministry, Inc. relies almost entirely on volunteers. Only a small number of workers receive monetary compensation. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us and let us know how you can contribute. We utilize volunteer staff to:


Sort, inventory and put away goods

Cook for the volunteer staff

Transport goods

Staff the benefit sales facility

Repair damaged donated goods prior to distribution or sale

Solicit donations i.e. telephone solicitation, grant writing, etc.


Personal needs assistance


Bread of Life Ministry, Inc. relies on donations from private donors, businesses, and charitable organizations’ such as Operation Blessing of the 700 Club, Alan Feinstein, Wal-Mart, Toyota, Whirlpool, Churches, United ways, Community Foundations and various other organizations.
