The Bread Of Life Ministry Inc., a tristate food and clothing bank and pantry, is celebrating 50 years of serving those in need!

 

Our 9th annual benefit weekend will be spectacular this year!  We look forward to and appreciate your support on September 15th-17th in helping others less fortunate.

 

Our events start on Friday, September 15, 2023; with a VIP dinner show and auction at Funxion Event Center in Boonville, Indiana.  Enjoy a great meal with entertainment by Nashville rising star, Birdie Nichols, who’s appeared on the Opry stage in Nashville Tennessee and winner of the MPS Horizon Award in 2022.

 

Featured performer will be Mike Booth recording artist/entertainer that toured with the Jordan Aires, author of his latest book, “A Cowboy Remembers”, and top auctioneer for the Gem Shopping Network out of Atlanta Georgia. 

 

Saturday September 16, 2023 is our 9th annual Celebrity Golf Scramble @ the Boonville Country Club in Boonville, Indiana. We will celebrate this event with prizes, Dixon Golf prizes and a hole-in-one prize this year!

Celebrity golfers include Mike Booth, Keith Burns (Grammy Nominated and AMC & AMA award winning platinum selling group Trick Pony) and other special guest golfers. 

 

Sunday September 17, 2023, is a full day of worship and fun!  All events for Sunday are held at the Museum of Coal Industry in Lynnville, Indiana.    

 9:00 am Car Show Cruise In.

10:00 am  Community Cowboy Church with all our tristate churches to join in the fellowship. (*Remember to bring a lawn chair!*). Local pastor will open in prayer, and the service will be conducted by Bishop Jimmy Tyson and the Gathering Place Band and Choir of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Other special music provided by Mike Booth and Austin Glover local recording artist that just performed at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee this year. 

11:00 am lunch available for purchase 

11:00 am - 3:00 pm  Car Show Cruise In with prizes, and you may vote for the “People’s Choice Award”. 

 2:45 pm announce Cruise In winners and handing out the prizes. Welcome by the Museum of the Coal Industry. 

 3:00 pm  Country Concert starts with Keith Burns of Trick Pony, The Red Ridge Riders Band of Nashville Tennessee, Bronson Herrmuth (playing harp, fiddle, guitar, touring artist, most recent with David Frizzell), Mike Booth, and more surprise guest to come!  

 

*All proceeds for Friday and Saturday go to The Bread Of Life Ministry, Inc and Sunday proceeds go to The Bread Of Life Ministry, Inc and The Museum Of The Coal Industry, both of Lynnville, Indiana located in Warrick  County.

Join us for our upcoming 50th Anniversary Annual Benefit weekend.  Including a VIP dinner, Auction, Concert on Friday, September 15th at funxions in Boonville, Indiana.....Saturday, September 16th at the Boonville Country Club for our Celebrity Golf Scramble, and Sunday, Sept 17th at the Museum of the Coal Industry with 9am car show cruise in, 10 am Community Cowboy Church, 11 am Lunch, 12-3 our Cruise in car show with prizes, and 3pm our Country Concert Tour with artists from Nashville, Tn and local talent!  More flyers and information to come!!!

Peoples Bank is excited to announce the recipients of donations from the Christian Science Society Irrevocable Trust. This trust was established in 1994 to distribute funds to support non-profit charitable, civic, and educational community organizations in Warrick County. This year's distribution totaled $60,000. Congratulations to the following organizations!

"2022 Benefit Weekend Fundraising Extravaganza"

 

 September 17, 2022 our 8th Annual Golf Scramble and Silent Auction at the Boonville Country Club in Boonville, Indiana.  All proceeds benefit the Bread of Life Ministry, Inc and we have a great time for a great cause!  This was an exciting and very SUCCESSFUL benefit for the Bread of Life Ministry and the Museum of the Coal Industry in September this year!  Special thanks to YOU that made this possible with your participation and our special guest including; Keith Burns of Trick Pony, Mike Booth, entertainer/auctioneer, Austin Glover, entertainer, Birdie Nicols (entertainer) and family, Bishop Jimmy Tyson and the Gathering Place Church, The Red Ridge Riders with special guest Dino Pastin.

 

Our golf scramble winners this year were:  1st place - Jimmy Haynes team, 2nd place - Ed Colburn team, 3rd place - Dale Adams team with celebrity golfer, Keith Burns, 4th place - honorary mention went to Jacinta Winsett team with celebrity golfer, Mike Booth

Another special thanks to The Boonville Country Club, The Museum of the Coal Industry, our Catering Service, our Volunteers, auction donations, corporate and individual sponsors, and many others behind the scenes that made our 8th annual event so successful.

 

We do have auction items that need to still be picked up, and we will be advertising the items left for auction thru the holidays for your charitable donation.

 

You may call 1-812-922-5424 for more information on how to participate in our 9th annual event in September of 2023, as we are planning it now and you should sign up early to secure your spot.  This will be our 50th year serving the needs of those in our Tri-State area and outreach to individuals and agencies with food, clothing and toys at Christmas.
